Presenter Biography
Bryan Downing is the founder of Quantlabs.net.
Bryan’s interest in computers started back in the early days of computers (Commodore Vic 20). With a formal education at Ryerson, and then jobs through his career with firms in technology, telecom and banking.
As a lover of the capital markets, it only made sense to marry his software experience with his investment passions, so he launched Quantlabs.net for quant analysts, researchers, and developers.
As every serious institution is using quantitative methods to improve their analysis, trading, and risk management, isn’t it time that everyone thinks about how to blend technology and trading ideas to get an edge in the market to provide steady profits.
